SUE20041 WORKPLACE ENGLISH

WORKPLACE ENGLISH is aimed at developing and improving students’ English language competence and confidence to communicate and conduct social transactions in workplace contexts as well as perform familiar job procedures effectively. Additionally, it is expected that students will improve their linguistic and nonlinguistic competences. Finally, it is hoped that students will be able to function as an independent user of English language at between Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) A1 to A2 levels.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO) 

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

CLO 1: practice relevant communication skills in basic workplace situation (A2, CLS3C)

CLO 2: discuss processes, procedures and instruction relevant to workplace situation (A2, CLS3B)
